The announcing press-conference of the 3rd Moscow Biennale of contemporary art was held on July 20 at the Garage, Center of Contemporary Culture. The main speakers were the сurator Jean-Hubert Martin, commissioner and artistic director Joseph Backstein and American photographer Spencer Tunick, participant of the main project, who came to Moscow to create his project MOSCOW INDIVIDUALS. Natalia Uvarova, adviser of Minister of Culture, represented the Ministry of Сulture of the Russian Federation.
The speakers gave a short brief of current situation with the organizing process and shared their expectations concerning the upcoming event. Spencer Tunick told the journalists how his MOSCOW INDIVIDUALS shooting was carried the day before the conference – the results will be shown within the main project of Biennale in September.
