The series that Spencer Tunick will be creating in Moscow is not his well known group installations but his lesser known and more secretive and intimate individual portrait series, where he works one on one with a volunteer.

On Friday, June 5, on the eve of the opening of the 53rd Venice biennale of contemporary art the Venetian Hotel Danieli will host the press-conference of the organizers of the Third Moscow biennale of contemporary art. The presentation will include a welcome by Joseph Backstein, commissioner and artistic director of the biennale, a briefing on the biennale by the curator Jean-Hubert Marten and his assistant Olivier Varrenne, and introduction to the Garage, the main venue of the biennale, by Daria Zhukova.
